Covid Policy
Proof of Vaccination
Kookaburra Creek Yoga Centre is a public building on privately owned premises, registered as a 'yoga studio'. Yoga studios are broadly classified with gyms, fitness centres and health studios, and are therefore subject to the recently introduced Vaccine Mandate requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination.
Therefore, from the 31 January 2022, it is a requirement of entry to the Kookaburra Creek Yoga Centre venue that all teachers, students and visitors present a current certificate of Covid-19 Vaccination and Photo ID as per the Directions published by the State Government: https://www.wa.gov.au/system/files/2022-01/Proof-of-vaccination-directions.pdf
As per the Directions, presentation of a Vaccination Certificate is not required to access outdoor gyms or fitness classes, and is therefore not required to access outdoor spaces on our premises.
Your Vaccination Certificate can be presented on arrival, along with photo ID. You will only need to do this once, and once sighted we will keep a record of the following details 'full name; mobile phone number; date vaccine certificate sighted; date ID sighted'. Then the next time you visit, you'll just need to sign in with your name, phone number and tick the box on the sign-in register indicating that your vaccination certificate has already been presented.
We do not need to keep a copy of your Vaccination Certificate, however if you would like to upload it in advance of attending then you can do so by completing the Covid Proof of Vaccination Form and we will update our records accordingly. The information we may share if audited or for the purposes of Contact Tracing is limited to: 'full name; mobile phone number; date vaccine certificate sighted; date ID sighted' and will be limited to relevant authorities only. We promise not to share your personal details or any medical information you share with us with any other 3rd party organisations or people.
As per the published 'Proof of Vaccination Directions', unvaccinated people are still able to attend outdoor programs at Kookaburra Creek. You will need you to sign the register on arrival and provide your full name and mobile phone number. You will not be permitted to enter any of the indoor spaces on the premises.

If you have an official Government-issued Medical Exemption you are able to attend the Kookaburra Creek Yoga Centre venue and premises and both indoor and outdoor programs. Please follow the same procedures as stated above for presenting/submitting your Covid Certificate.
