Beautiful & serene venuePuri Gangga is a boutique resort near Sebatu Ubud village and right by one of Bali's most sacred water temples set amidst the forest and rice paddies. Meditation & PranayamaWe start each day at sunrise with Mano Yoga - a powerful healing meditation practice. At sunset we practice Raja Yoga meditation and pranayama. You'll learn the subtleties of the techniques and be guided in your practice. In the evenings you'll be lulled into a deep, blissful state of relaxation during fully guided sound healing and meditation sessions before sleeping peacefully to the sounds of the rainforest.

Bodywork & HealingBali is known for its healing and spiritual traditions and gifted indigenous healers. Our retreat centre has a dedicated spa who's staff are experienced therapists and bodyworkers. You receive one 1 hour massage as part of each retreat package. You are welcome to book additional sessions and receive a 10% discount off their usual price.

Sunday 1st JanuaryArrival
You will be met by a representative who will take you directly to our venue near Ubud. The drive is approximately 45 minutes through scenic villages, jungle and rice terraces. on arriving at BeingSattva you will receive a welcome drink and 15 minute massage. You can check in and relax in your room from 2pm. The afternoon is free to enjoy the venue facilities including the pool overlooking the jungle. Afternoon tea is served at 4pm. 5pm Yoga We meet in the Upstairs Yoga Room for a 1 hour yoga session to stretch our limbs after the flight and driving. 7.00pm Dinner Enjoy a sumptuous vegetarian dinner and get to know your fellow retreat participants. 8.00pm Opening Circle; Meditation We will formally open the retreat and introduce ourselves before being guided in a restful healing meditation. |

Balinese people believe these rituals cleanse and heal our bodies, minds and souls on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. The temple priest oversees the ceremony chanting mantras in ancient Sanskrit. Do I need experience in Yoga to attend this retreat?
No, we welcome anyone who is interested in embarking upon a journey of self enquiry and discovery. The yoga and meditation practices on each retreat are carefully explained and taught in a caring and respectful manner. All of the practices taught can be adapted to suit the needs of each participant.
DO I NEED to organise passport, Visa, INSURANCE and International flights?
- To enter Indonesia it is a requirement that you have a passport valid for at least 6 months from date of travel.
- You must book your own international flight to Denpasar Airport, Bali or ask your own travel agent to do this for you.
- You must have a travel insurance policy with relevant inclusions and provide us with your Certificate of Currency prior to departure. This is a condition of attending all Kookaburra Yoga Retreats.
- To enter Indonesia you may need to obtain an entry visa depending on which country you are travelling from. Visas are available on arrival and are $35USD. You must have cash in US dollars to obtain the visa. For some countries visas are not required. Please check with the Indonesian Consulate in your country.
- New year is a peak time to visit Bali so please book your flights early to ensure good prices and availability.
- You should organise your travel insurance at the time of booking your flights to ensure you are covered in the event you need to cancel.
What if I Need to cancel?
- We ask for a deposit of $500 upon booking a place on each of these Retreats.
- Your $500 deposit is your commitment to attend and is generally nonrefundable unless we can offer your place to a waitlisted person or you find someone to take your place. In exceptional circumstances we will also refund the deposit.
- If you cancel 0-2 weeks before the retreat the full amount is payable.
- If you cancel 2-4 weeks before the retreat 75% of your payment (minus deposit) will be refunded to you.
- If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the retreat your full payment (minus deposit) will be refunded to you.
- If you need to cancel due to ill health or the death of someone close to you, your travel insurance policy may refund your deposit and all other money paid back to you. Please check with your insurer.
- Travel insurance on this retreat is compulsory.
- If we have a waitlist and can fill your place from this, all money paid (except for deposit) will be refunded to you regardless of when you cancel.
What if I am not in perfect condition or if I get sick?
- You should be fine to attend a Bali Retreat if you are in reasonable health. Please check with your own health care provider if you have any concerns or doubts.
- If you get sick while travelling, our local organiser will ensure you receive the most appropriate and best medical attention and care as soon as possible.

What is the Retreat Size?
Our venue is a small boutique resort with a capacity for up to 15-20 people. Numbers are determined by venue size.
- There are 8 single beds in twin share rooms
- There are 6 queen size beds in double rooms. Single beds can be added to these rooms
- There is additional accommodation at the 5 star Kayon Resort close by. Luxury upgrades to this resort are available.
- Retreats are subject to a minimum of 8 participants each.

- Our venue for both retreats is Puri Gangga Resort & Spa. It is a small boutique resort in charming setting in the rainforest and right by the rice paddies. - The resort is located in the village called Sebatu Ubud and is a 25 minute drive from Ubud town centre. The venue provides a daily free shuttle bus to Ubud.
