Moksha
the moods of yoga through the seasons of life.
Sunday 21 June 10am-2pm. This winter we are hosting a free family-friendly community event at Kookaburra Creek featuring a beautiful seasonal program 'Moksha - the Moods of Yoga through the Seasons of Life'. There will be yoga (movement, mantra, pranayama), a mindfulness nature walk, nature mandala creation, and a winter earth prayer and reflection. Bring some food to share for a community lunch. Everyone is welcome including kids. No experience of yoga necessary.
This unique yoga event is free, inclusive and we welcome all including children and families. Please be aware that if you are bringing children you'll need to take care of them at all times, particularly in outdoor spaces where we have unfenced waterways. During the quieter parts of the program please do take children outside if they are disturbing the peace of others.
Winter is a naturally contemplative time of reflection both wards and forwards in time. We pause together to celebrate life through all its seasons and stages.
This is a collaborative event hosted by Robert and Mandy of Kookaburra Yoga, our current cohort of Hatha Yoga Method teacher trainees who complete their 12 month training July 2023. We do hope you can join us for a meaningful and joyful winter event.
