Forest Drumming Circle
Join Robert in the forest by Kookaburra Creek
Sundays 10am-12pm
An invitation to commune with the mother spirits of the trees and plants, the nature divas and the birds of the forest which is in full glorious Spring bloom! We meet at the yoga centre at 10am and drive 5 minutes to the forest carpark. We then walk 15 minutes to a sacred, secret forest sanctuary. Using RAV Vast drums and other drums we walk together in silence to the secret first grove and finding a tree to join with create a circle of humans and trees. For an hour we drum together creating a rhythm and melody that connects us on the deepest level with the spirit of nature around us. The trees sing with us! We connect our 'Music of the Plants' device to the plants and trees of the forest. This unique device perceives the electromagnetic signals of plants and translates it into musical harmonies. Studies have shown that plants have a huge underground network with their roots. They create an electromagnetic “field” composed of vibrations. This dense symphony permeates us, activating an immediate psycho-physical response. The Music of the Plants device translates natural electromagnetic signals into music helping us to understand more deeply the “sound of nature” and its consciousness. (you can find out more about 'Music of the Plants' here) Places limited to 15 people - bookings essential. You are welcome to bring your own drum, or to use one of ours. |
